Dave Matthews Band revealed details about three-day festival

Previous May, . Matthews told Billboard.com, “I want to look at music not as a professional . I’d like to do it for a year where I’m just an amateur, where the only reason I’m doing it is out of love so I can come back with this group of people that I’ve played with for 20 years and have something more.”

Dave Matthews Band headlines four three-day festival will be this summer: today, "amateur" a kind of return announced in the summer.

“Dave Matthews Band Caravan” first events will take place at Bader Field in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 24, 25, and 26 .

At this night DMB are set to perform a full show alongside David Gray, Ray LaMontagne, Damian Marley, and The Flaming Lips, as well as , Michael Franti and Spearhead, Warren Haynes Band, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Guster, and Fitz and the Tantrums.

Three-day passes tickets will be available, and the “Caravan” shows will be DMB’s only performances this year. Atlantic City tickets online for the fair application period Monday, 14 March starts. Like other three events still to unannounced,

The band’s website says, “There will be a festival July 8-10 in the Midwest, an August event in an unknown location and a September festival, likely Labor Day Weekend at the Gorge in George, Washington.”

First of Dave Matthews Band Caravan Festivals Announced


The details of its first Dave Matthews Band Caravan festival has been announced by Dave Matthews Band.It would going to be held on June 24-26th at Bader Field,the former site of the Atlantic City Municipal Airport in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

This show will feature multiple performances by band including solo gigs by its various members, as well as sets by artists such as the Flaming Lips, Ray LaMontagne, O.A.R., Guster, Damian Marley, Dr. Dog and Amos Lee.

Some late night gigs are planned at Atlantic City but the show mainly held on the Bader Field grounds.

The second Dave Matthews Band Caravan weekend will be somewhere in the Midwest on July 8-10th, and two others are scheduled for August and September.
